Licensed to Build: Noah Gaither

We’re delighted to announce that Noah Gaither has passed all his architecture licensing requirements and is now an officially licensed architect.

Becoming licensed takes dedication, focus, and stamina. It is a rigorous, often multi-year endeavor requiring at least 3,740 hours of experience in six different practice areas (e.g. Project Management, Programming & Analysis, Construction & Evaluation, etc.) and passing a set of six corresponding exams. “I’m fortunate that my work experience at GBBN has been in nearly all phases of design and construction. When certain questions would come up in practice tests, I’d often be able to make connections to real-world situations I had encountered while working on projects,” says Noah. “The trust and responsibility given to me by my project managers has significantly paid off in my licensure journey. For that, I’m very thankful.”

Given the long and arduous process of becoming a licensed architect, what made Noah want to pursue licensure? “Among all the topics I learned throughout studying, becoming licensed builds professional credibility—it is my ultimate proof that I understand what this profession is and where it is heading,” he says. “As a medical planner who strives to translate complex operational bottlenecks into tangible built-environment solutions, I hope our clients and design partners would equally see this as a considerable step forward in working together to create better healthcare architecture of all scales, for all people.”
