Megan Mershman Named to Transportation Leadership Group

The Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber recently selected GBBN Associate Megan Mershman to join Next Gen, an inaugural cohort of emerging business leaders who will guide the chamber’s transportation work to create a more connected region.

The group will help lead the work of The Connected Region, established by the Cincinnati Chamber in 2016 to develop a transportation system that connects people to jobs, education, healthcare, and all that our region has to offer.

As an interior designer, Megan works to make environments supportive, functional, beautiful, and compelling. An alumna of the Cincinnati Chamber’s Cincy Next program, Megan understands the challenges and opportunities the city is addressing to help businesses grow and attract talent to the region.

“My spouse and I have been sharing a single car for over 18 months now. As a result, I have incorporated walking, scootering, taking the streetcar, bus riding, ridesharing, cycling, and carpooling into the ways I get around to places. This has given me a lot of perspective about how pedestrian and transit friendly our city is and isn’t,” says Megan. “The chamber has been doing great work in this area, and I’m excited to add my voice, perspective, and passion to their efforts.”
