Sabreena Miller Awarded NAIOP & Prologis Scholarship

GBBN Client Development Manager Sabreena Miller was recently awarded a national NAIOP and Prologis Inclusion in CRE Scholarship for Women and Underrepresented Professionals. This scholarship recognizes young professionals in the commercial real estate (CRE) industry who have demonstrated leadership and responsibility.

As one of just 15 national scholarship recipients, Sabreena has the opportunity to earn a NAIOP Certificate of Advanced Study delivered through courses in NAIOP’s The Center for Education (she’s chosen the Commercial Real Estate Development track) at no cost. This knowledge enables us to understand the challenges and opportunities that our developer clients face and provide more value in helping them find the right design solution for their projects.

“From her contributions at Uptown Partners of Pittsburgh to her ongoing relationship building with our clients, Sabreena tirelessly promotes equitable and thriving development in Pittsburgh,” says GBBN Principal and Mixed-use Market Design Leader Amanda Markovic. “It’s wonderful to have a dynamic organization like NAIOP recognize Sabreena’s hard work and passion for Pittsburgh’s built environment.”

Sabreena will also receive complimentary registration and travel to the 2024 I.CON East industrial real estate conference in Jersey City, NJ in June where she will be recognized.

“I’m excited for the opportunity to build my network and grow my knowledge in for-profit real estate development,” says Sabreena. “This will complement my background in nonprofit community development and help me continue to champion thoughtful design and development in Pittsburgh.”
