Marcene Kinney

AIA, LEED AP

Principal | Director of Education & Culture

Maybe it’s her love for the art and athleticism of ballet, maybe it’s her wicked tennis backhand, or maybe it’s that she came this close to studying theatre tech instead of architecture. Whatever the source, Marcene brings a passion for patron, performer, player, and student to her role as Director of GBBN’s Culture & Education market. In addition to providing strategic market oversight, Marcene manages projects that sharpen the competitive edge of student athletes (the University of Kentucky’s Tennis Complex) and empower freshmen on their journey to independence (University of Cincinnati’s Marian Spencer Hall). She has also guided a diverse roster of transformative arts projects to fruition, including the renovation of Ensemble Theatre Cincinnati and she regularly speaks about GBBN’s work at both the national and local level.
