Jake grew up raising farm animals which profoundly shaped his empathy and heightened his awareness of how sustainable building practices impact the environment. In his work, Jake leans into this compassion. By focusing on people’s experiences in their built surroundings and continuously exploring new materials and fabrication techniques, he strives to bring sustainability, resilience, and playfulness to projects.
