News & Insights

"The artist and craftsman, Wharton Esherick, created his work with material that he either went out and looked for, or that which he accidentally found. In the first year of our annual Design Expedition, we visited his home and studio and I was reminded that design inspiration is much the same. A never ending curiosity to explore, try new things, and meet new people are the roots of finding inspiration that drive me and allow me to create work that connects people to one another and their surroundings in meaningful ways." - Brooke Behnfeldt
