Ashley Barnes

Since her first formal encounter with architecture in high school, Ashley was struck by the myriad of details that architectural projects involve. The task of documentation is immense, but, as GBBN’s BIM Manager, Ashley helps her colleagues tackle that responsibility. Collaborative and detail-oriented, she keeps the firm’s Revit project templates up to date, develops innovative technological solutions to design challenges, and helps streamline project workflow. Her goal is to keep GBBN at the cutting-edge of design technology. When she’s not in the office, you might find Ashley on the soccer pitch, enjoying a life-long passion she shares with her family.

“From a surprise 40th birthday trip to Colorado, my husband and I thought it would be good idea to hike to the summit of Mt. Yale, a 14er (14,000’ + summit) on a whim! We made it (he fared better than I did, but I made it down in one piece). One of my favorite lifetime experiences so far and itching for more hiking and exploring!” - Ashley Barnes
